Chianti Tour: A Journey Through Tuscany’s Wine Route

Our journey begins in Greve in Chianti, a charming town known as the "gateway" to the Chianti region. We will explore the Piazza Matteotti, the heart of the town, surrounded by arcades and traditional shops. One of the highlights is a visit to the historic Antica Macelleria Falorni, a famous butcher shop offering high-quality cured meats and cheeses.

A short drive from Greve takes us to Montefioralle, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Tuscany. This small, fortified hamlet is a perfect place to step back in time, with its narrow stone streets and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Montefioralle is also known as the birthplace of Amerigo Vespucci, the explorer who gave his name to America.

Next, we visit Panzano in Chianti, another lovely village offering breathtaking views and a lively atmosphere. Panzano is famous for Dario Cecchini, the world-renowned butcher, whose shop and restaurant attract food lovers from around the globe. You will have the opportunity to explore the village, admire its medieval architecture, and soak in the authentic Tuscan ambiance.

No Chianti tour would be complete without a visit to a local winery, where you will learn about the region’s winemaking traditions. We will tour the vineyards and cellars, discovering the secrets behind the production of Chianti Classico.
